Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 7, 2026
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Spyre's website, digital tools, claimant portal, collaboration features, and paid career services. By using Spyre or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or our services.
Who We Are
In these terms, "Spyre," "we," "our," and "us" means Spyre. You can contact us at hello@spyre.co or by post at 1029 Finchley Road, London, NW11 7ES, United Kingdom.
Related Policies
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If there is a conflict between these terms and a service-specific agreement we send you directly, that specific agreement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use paid services. If you create or use an account, portal login, invitation link, or collaboration access link, you are responsible for keeping your credentials and access links secure and for all activity carried out using them.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and promptly update it if it changes. We may suspend or restrict access if account information is inaccurate, misleading, or used in a way that creates security or legal risk.
Using the Website and Services
You agree to use Spyre only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the operation of the website or services.
- upload, submit, or share unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, or misleading content;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data;
- introduce malware, harmful code, or abusive traffic, including denial-of-service activity;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit our website or services except where the law allows it;
- use collaboration or portal tools to access information you are not authorized to view.
Our Services
Spyre provides career-related products and services, which may include CV review, ATS review, salary-related analysis, CV writing support, job application support, claimant portal tools, document collaboration, messaging, and related advisory services.
Service descriptions on the website are intended to explain the nature of the offering, but exact deliverables, timings, and inclusions may depend on the package you select, the information you provide, and any service-specific agreement or checkout summary.
We may improve, adapt, replace, or discontinue features from time to time. If a material change affects a paid service you have already purchased, we will take reasonable steps to provide an appropriate substitute, update, credit, or refund where required.
Orders and Payment
Prices for paid services are shown on the website, at checkout, or in a written proposal. You are responsible for reviewing your order before submission. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. We do not control those providers and your use of them may also be subject to their terms and privacy notices.
Unless stated otherwise, payment is due in advance for consumer orders placed through the website. We may refuse or cancel an order where pricing information is obviously wrong, fraud is suspected, payment fails, or the requested service cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
Consumer Rights, Cancellations, and Refunds
Nothing in these terms removes or reduces any rights you have under consumer law, including rights relating to services being supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Refunds, rescheduling, and cancellation outcomes depend on the type of service purchased, whether work has started, what has already been delivered, and any rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Please review our Refund Policy for further detail.
Where consumer cooling-off rights apply, those rights are subject to applicable law and any express request or consent you give for service delivery to begin during the cancellation period.
Your Materials and Permissions
You retain ownership of the CVs, documents, comments, messages, and other materials you submit to Spyre. You confirm that you have the right to provide those materials and that using them to deliver the services will not infringe another person's rights.
You grant Spyre a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, copy, format, transmit, and otherwise process those materials only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the services, operate the website and portal, support collaboration, maintain records, and comply with law.
Portal and Collaboration Features
Some Spyre features allow portal access, shared review links, OTP verification, file uploads, collaboration comments, and claimant-specific workflows. Access to these tools is personal and limited to the intended user or authorized reviewer.
You must not forward secure links, verification codes, or access credentials to anyone who is not authorized to use them. We may disable or rotate access where we believe a link or session has been exposed, misused, or compromised.
Intellectual Property
Spyre and its licensors own the website, branding, software, designs, page content, graphics, and other materials made available by us, excluding materials owned by you. Those rights are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the website and any deliverables we provide to you for your personal, internal, non-resale use, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Third-Party Services and Links
Spyre may rely on third-party providers for areas such as authentication, hosting, payments, customer communications, live chat, and document handling. We may also link to third-party websites or resources.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, or services outside our control, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms.
Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Spyre available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all content will always be complete or current.
We may update the website, pricing, features, and service descriptions from time to time. Changes to future orders will apply prospectively. Material changes to these terms are addressed in the "Changes to These Terms" section below.
Career Outcomes and No Guarantee
Spyre's services are intended to improve the presentation of your experience and support your job search, but we do not guarantee employment, interviews, salary outcomes, visa approval, recruiter responses, or any specific commercial or career result.
Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, your background, timing, competition, recruiter decisions, and the completeness and accuracy of the information you provide.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breaches of mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, Spyre will not be liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when the contract was formed, or for business-related losses suffered by a consumer, such as loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or business interruption.
If you use Spyre as a business user rather than as a consumer, then to the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services will be limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service giving rise to the claim.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website, portal, or services if you breach these terms, misuse the platform, fail to pay amounts due, create security risk, or if we are required to do so by law.
If we terminate a paid service because of your breach, we may withhold access to incomplete work to the extent permitted by law. If we terminate without your fault before the relevant paid service has been delivered, we will provide an appropriate refund, credit, or other fair remedy as required.
Privacy and Data Protection
Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using Spyre, you acknowledge that we may process personal data as described there.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the revised "Last updated" date. Changes will apply from the date they are posted, except where the law requires a different approach.
If a change materially affects an active paid service, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers where practical.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence gives you additional rights.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction where you live, where mandatory law allows that. If you are acting in the course of business, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless we agree otherwise in writing.
